do we dub the kamazaze pilots of world war II who gave their lives for the principles upon which they rested their lives a bunch of faceless cowards? it takes the kind of bravery very few in this world posess to give their lives willingly to their ideals.

the difference between our president's generation and his father's is that in 1941 american citizens were lying about their age in order to enlist in the military and during the vietnam war people like george walker bush were lying in order to stay out of the military. in both instances the parties involved were fighting for the most basic of american principles: freedom. our sad excuse for a president has no right to indulge in such blind finger-pointing. the man is a deer in headlights. he calls what happened today a direct attack against freedom. not many things on the news make me laugh out loud like that did. the man has little regard for much less than making sure the itch on his ass is scratched to his liking.

wasn't his rape of the american model for free and democratic election a direct assault on freedom? as far as i am concerned he has taken my country hostage by his mere presence in washington.

did the individuals who gave their lives in order to promulgate their ideals not exhibit intense and admirable bravery? although the "enemy" we are currently facing cannot be given a modicum of mercy once they are found to be responsible, they must be deemed a worthy adversary. they stand up for their ideals rather than taking advandage of the affordances they provide (as our president has).

and seeing congress singing "god bless america" on television makes me want to set some charges of my own. propaganda such as that should be illegal. eat your heart out leni riefenstahl. it's times like these that makes me ashamed to associate myself with america proper. politics and religious fanaticism will NEVER be set aside.

declaring war will merely give them what they want. embargos and sanctions are do-nothing policies.

people have to die in order to placate the mob mentality of the american populace. every so often the tree of liberty must be replenished with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

we have to look past the personal interests involved in this situation to analyze the sickness that infects our government.
