� letter to "scumbag" �

matt, i don't know if you read this or not, but for now i'm putting this into words here. for years now we've been on the fringe of each others' lives and at times have likewise been major components in them (can you say pneumothorax?). i read what you wrote in your new and improved outlet (and i'm glad you got one by the way) and it honestly tightened my throat at times. beneath the detached, cynical surface i can see that what dancefloor (or whatever he goes by these days, i can never keep up) did really hurts.

i know how it can feel to be nailed down by your psyche for years at a time. what you have been forced to go through in the last year or so has undoubtedly been unbearable, and i've been where you feel like you are. it sucks, and i'm absolutely certain that you know that all too well.

my purpose for writing this, however, is just to let you know that anything you need: you know where i am, and you know i'll do whatever i can.

i just want to remind you that you have friends out here who think about your well-being.

methinks that is all.
