...and with gatorade and starbursts as my only sustenance...

(written in film and lit. class again)

in case of emergency, exit through hallway.

everyone who claims to have experienced a near-death experience reports seeing a corridor ending in a bright white light blabla... i wonder if kamakaze pilots experienced tunnel vision... what does it take to achieve focus like that? i am certainly tunnel visioning right now. sometimes life seems like it's closing in around you when faced with insurmountable and indomitable odds and adversity, be it real or created.

you can seldom tell that i'm gritting my teeth when i grin and bear it.

vagueness with a purpose. all of my classes this semester require voracious reading. dry reading. we're talking ben franklin, nabokov, bradstreet, hawthorne, blabla...

...

and she's doing it again. i swear with my hand upon the holiest of relics associated with any popular religion that she rode up in the elevator up to class with dr. ruth westheimer. she's full of natural botannicals. and now i've lost my focus. i did not intend for this to be another installment in this saga.

(i went to go and get gatorade and starbursts.)

my field of vision consists of her, the professor, and the blackboard.

in case of emergency, exit through hallway.

it's very new england outside today. snowfeathers. i did not intentionally set up my tunnel to include her. and she's lashed her hair down, but now she's stretching. this is the last thing we need. the hair restraining did not last long. indecisive.

humbert and lolita. it's a shame i can't hash out the backstory to these entries, but suffice it to say that i can relate to the poor, doomed humbert. besides, lolita bears a striking resemblance to the 'awhile' is underlined girl. in the kubrick version mind you.

and while watching the learning channel last night, i realized that if you drained the oceans of all of their water, the result would look something like my heart. full of rifts and starving for something...
